chocolate cake is basically a sponge with cocoa or melted chocolate .Today i am going to teach you how to make the best chocolate cake :devil’s!!!
Preheat oven to 160°C (325°F). Grease a 22cm cake tin. Place the butter and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer and beat until light and creamy. Add the eggs and beat well. Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa over the butter mixture, add the sour cream and chocolate, and mix until just combined.
Pour the mixture into the tin and bake for 55 minutes–1 hour or until just set. Cool in the tin.
To make the chocolate glaze, combine the chocolate and cream in a saucepan over low heat and stir until smooth. Allow the glaze to stand for 5 minutes before spreading over the top of the cake. Serves 8–10.

4 eggs (weighing between 687-813 gms)
pinch of salt
3/4 cup castor sugar
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder (if you are using self raising flour you dont need this )
1/2 tsp butter
1. divide the eggs straight out of the fridge. (if you have a standing beater use the whisk attachment) whisk egg whites for 3 minutes or until when beater pulled out forms stiff peak(s).
2.Beat yolks with sugar until sugar is completely dissolved.
3.fold in whites to the yolks . sieve flour and baking powder in to the mixture and fold till smooth an creamy .
4. butter or line the sides with parchement paper of a 22 inch baking tray and put in 180 degrees preheated oven for 40 min or until when skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean . cool for 10-15 min
5.half the cake and apply cream and nutella/jam to the first half and sandwich the second half on top. slice and serve!!!
